Avid Health at Home is seeking a Private Duty Nurse (RN) to provide in-home and school-based nursing services to pediatric clients in Kalamazoo and Hudsonville, MI. The role supports long-term client growth and works under supervision of a Clinical Manager.

Flexible scheduling with days, nights, weekends and PRN opportunities; competitive hourly pay; full and part-time openings with benefits for eligible staff. Requires MI RN license and 1+ year home care experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: RN licensed in Michigan with current, unencumbered status.
• Travel: Valid driver’s license; driving record satisfactory.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year home care; 1 year hospital nursing preferred.
• Skills: G-tube feeding, Trachs/Vents, cough assist, seizure interventions, catheterization.
• Documentation: Ability to use computerized eMAR and care records.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; work well under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Evaluate and treat clients under supervision of RN/Clinical Manager.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide nursing services in home and school settings.
• Coordinate care plans and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in eMAR.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper equipment use.
• Participate in standard policies and procedures.
