Job summary

First Day Homecare is seeking compassionate RN/LPN nurses to deliver private duty pediatric nursing in clients’ homes in New Jersey. You will work closely with families, physicians, and the clinical team to implement individualized plans of care and ensure safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring client status, documenting changes, and educating families. A valid RN or LPN license, CPR, and a driver’s license are required; we offer flexible

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN or LPN license in the state where services are provided.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting applicable state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act.
• Follow physician orders and the client’s individualized plan of care.
• Maintain accurate client orders and document changes in the medical record.
• Monitor client condition and communicate significant findings.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Provide client and caregiver education as appropriate.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in client condition.
• Provide personal care and other nursing services within the assigned scope of practice.
• Provide specialized pediatric nursing care when required (tracheostomy care, ventilator management, enteral feeding).
• Collaborate with families, physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team.
