Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Novice to competent in subject matter and skills.
• Completion of a practical nursing (LPN) certificate or vocational nurse (LVN) program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Preferred: Experience in either pediatric or research facility.
• Preferred: 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Responsibilities

• Patient care—data collection for assessments and study protocols; provide patient care and administer medications as ordered.
• Contribute to planning and modification of the nursing plan of care.
• Collaborate with health care team on patient plan of care.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; report safety concerns.
• Support inclusive, culturally sensitive care and engage patients and families.
