Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Texas PA license.
• Current NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through comprehensive or problem-focused exams and collect histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate labs and tests.
• Prescribe medications and perform procedures per supervising physician guidelines.
• Counsel patients and families on medical processes, treatment plans, and health promotion.
• Maintain and document treatment plans and outcomes; coordinate referrals as needed.
• Participate in team-based care with physicians, nurses, and staff.
