Job summary

Northeast Valley Health Corporation is actively seeking a physician to provide patient care and lead the medical team in delivering high-quality health services in our Los Angeles area facilities.

The role requires an MD/DO, completion of internship and residency, and California medical licensure. You will supervise NPs, PAs and MAs, ensure service availability, and collaborate across departments with excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved medical school with an M.D. or D.O. Degree.
  • Successful completion of an approved internship and residency.
  • Board eligible or Board Certified.
  • Current California Physician and Surgeon's License.
  • Some positions may require eligibility for hospital privileges in participating hospitals.
  • Thorough working knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation, and contemporary general office practices and procedures.
  • Math skills sufficient to prepare routine spreadsheets, calculate/balance invoices/expense reports, and similar.
  • Basic leadership skills
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.), electronic health record systems, and database systems.
  • Typing/data entry skills sufficient to meet production requirements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and others.
  • Very effective oral and written communications skills including public speaking experience.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a changing environment.
  • Sensitivity to the different cultures represented among members and staff.

Job description
