Job summary

Intermountain Health Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, MT, is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to screen, diagnose, and treat pediatric injuries and disabilities using standard physical therapy methods. You will educate patients and families and coordinate care for outpatient and acute settings.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service standards.
• Provides skilled physical therapy services adhering to standard practices and developing care plans with specific goals based on patient assessments.
• Meets established productivity standards for the department or service line.
• Keeps thorough and timely patient records and completes patient billing accurately.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers about patient needs and goals.
• Manages all aspects of patient care and education, including supervising assistants, aides, office staff, and students.
• Participates in continuing education opportunities for self and staff.
• Engages in quality improvement processes including safe equipment use and improving clinical outcomes.
• Participates in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, staff meetings, and work groups.
• Contributes to program development and marketing strategies to grow the physical therapy program and achieve department goals.
