Job summary

Easterseals Joliet Region is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to support children in school settings, collaborating with teachers, families, and therapy colleagues to promote development of strength, mobility, and independence.

You will evaluate developmental and physical challenges, develop individualized plans, provide therapy services in schools, and participate in multidisciplinary teams, summer clinic programs, and documentation.

Qualifications

• DPT (or equivalent) required or eligible for IL license.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate children with developmental and physical challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services in school settings.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, teachers and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide therapy services in the summer clinic program (20 hours/week).
