Job summary

Therapy 2000 is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to serve families in San Marcos, Texas and surrounding areas. The role is home-based, PRN or part-time with benefits, based in our Austin division.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with caregivers and other providers to support in-home pediatric therapy. The ideal candidate holds a Texas PT license, is reliable, and flexible to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Physical Therapy license.
• Reliable performer with a history of dependability.
• Flexible to shift resources and priorities as needed.
• Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop, email, browser).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans per physician orders.
• Create home exercise programs with patients' caregivers.
• Collaborate with other providers and coordinate care.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates and paperwork.
• Attend agency meetings to align with expectations and quality standards.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and regulations.

THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, has an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to serve families in San Marcos, Texas and the surrounding areas (PRN or Part-Time w/Benefits). This position is based in our Austin division.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those who are bilingual. If you're eager to embrace this aspect of the role, you'll find it to be a rewarding and growth-oriented experience.What you’ll do:-Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.-Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician orders.-Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.-Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.-Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.-Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.-Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.-Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.-Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric physical therapy.What you’ll need:-A current/active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas.-An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.-Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.-Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).Bonus points for:-3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist-Experience in a home-health setting.-Specialty Certifications (example: PCS)-Bilingual (English/Spanish)Perks :-Paid time off for full-time and part-time employees.-Medical/Dental/Vision insurance for full-time and part-time employees.-Access to innovative, relevant continuing education opportunities delivered in person and on-demand.-Mileage reimbursement for travel between patient visits.-Company-issued laptop computer.-Company-sponsored 401k program.
