Job summary

Pediatric Health Choice in Tampa, FL, is seeking a compassionate Contract Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team. This role offers a flexible schedule, daytimes, and a W-9 contractor arrangement, with a focus on pediatric mobility and development.

As part of a patient‑centered model, you will evaluate and treat children, collaborate with nurses and other therapists, educate families, and document progress in a compliant electronic system.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Prefer 1 year of pediatric experience (PPEC, early intervention, or medically fragile population).
• CPR certification and ability to pass Level II background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations for pediatric patients with complex medical and developmental needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support gross motor development and functional mobility.
• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with PPEC and state regulations.
• Educate and support families regarding therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during care planning and progress reviews.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, clinical standards, and ethical practices.
