Job summary

Family of Kidz in Delaware County, NY seeks a Pediatric Physical Therapist to design and implement innovative therapeutic interventions for children on your caseload, including those in early intervention and preschool settings.

The role may be part-time on a fee-for-service basis or full-time, with compensation at $112/hour for early intervention. Rates depend on caseload, experience and licensure, and the interview process may discuss current requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current New York State Physical Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Work with early intervention and/or preschool children.
• Administer and write up physical therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain a schedule with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

Location: Delaware County, NY

Status: Part-Time, Fee for Service or Full time Potential

Compensation: $112/hour for early intervention

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.
