Job summary

The role emphasizes family-centered care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and thorough documentation to support quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Specialty training in pediatric ortho, neuro, NDT, taping, child development, or other relevant pediatric areas.
• APTA pediatric specialty certification preferred.
• Current Arizona State Board license prior to start date.
• Current AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card prior to start date.
• Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses using age-appropriate, functional goals.
• Maintains documentation in compliance with Joint Commission, state/federal guidelines, and CARF standards.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to maximize plan of care and participates in discharge planning and education.
• Supervises assistants and rehab staff, providing input into performance evaluations.
