Job summary

BAYADA is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide after-school pediatric visits in Delaware. This part-time, per diem role offers flexibility to fit around your schedule and the opportunity to impact children and families positively in the community.

Deliver individualized therapy, develop care plans, and collaborate with families and a clinical team to support children’s growth and independence. Delaware licensure required.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Active Delaware PT license.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Availability for after-school hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized PT services to school-age children during after-school hours.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on each child's needs and goals.
• Help children improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional skills.
• Partner with parents, caregivers, and other members of the care team.
• Complete electronic documentation for each visit.
• Communicate progress and ongoing needs with the clinical team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individualized physical therapy services to school-age children during after-school hours
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on each child's needs and goals
• Help children improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional skills
• Partner with parents, caregivers, and other members of the child's care team
• Provide therapy in a supportive, child-centered environment
• Complete electronic documentation for each visitet
• Communicate regularly with the clinical team regarding progress and ongoing needs

What We’re Looking For

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing
• Active Delaware PT license
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• Experience working with school-age children is a plus
• Passion for helping children reach their goals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while being supported by an experienced clinical team
• Availability during after-school hours
