Job summary

Rehab Resources is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team in Wisconsin. You will conduct evaluations, design individualized treatment plans, and support children in achieving motor milestones.

Collaborate with families, schools, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Ensure proper documentation and continuous progress monitoring for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Wisconsin licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of children's physical abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve movement and independence.
• Address developmental or injury-related challenges including balance, gait, and posture.
• Assist children in achieving motor development milestones.
• Provide hands-on interventions to improve gross motor function and reduce injury risk.
• Help children improve endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate families on therapy at home and in school.
• Attend school-based or team meetings to set goals and review progress.
• Maintain accurate treatment and progress records.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Conducting initial and ongoing evaluations of children’s physical capabilities, including strength, mobility, and coordination.
• Developing individualized treatment plans to improve children’s movement, strength, and functional independence.
• Addressing developmental or injury-related challenges, including balance, walking, running, and posture.
• Assisting children in achieving key milestones in motor development and mobility.
• Providing hands‑on interventions to improve gross motor function and reduce the risk of injury.
• Working with children to improve endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
• Collaborating with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive therapy plan.
• Educating families and caregivers on how to assist in the child’s therapy at home and in the school environment.
• Participating in school‑based or B‑3 team meetings to develop appropriate goals and review therapy outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of treatment and progress.
