Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement medically prescribed treatment programs for pediatric patients, aiming to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability after disease or injury.

The role requires state board certification and licensure to practice in Washington, with pediatric-focused experience preferred and opportunities for growth within a large pediatric hospital network.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of state board examination.
  • Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington.
  • Experience in orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac patient management desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement prescribed treatment programs to restore function and relieve pain.
  • Perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient populations as directed.
  • Document in the medical record timely and accurate care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and the care team to coordinate treatment.

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, evaluating, planning, and implementing medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to restore functions, relieve pain and prevent disability following disease or injury. This professional-level position gives you the capacity for independent operations as you apply discretion and good judgment toward ensuring high-quality therapeutic care.

Responsibilities
  • You will perform well in stress and emergency situations
  • You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
  • You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
  • You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
  • You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients
Requirements
  • Successful completion of state board examination
  • Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $49.36 - $78.25 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
