Job Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: conduct comprehensive evaluations, document findings, and develop individualized care plans.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation: design and implement personalized treatment plans and employ therapeutic techniques and equipment.
- Patient Care & Rehabilitation: provide hands‑on therapy, exercises, monitor progress, and adjust treatments as needed.
- Team Collaboration: work closely with multidisciplinary teams, participate in case discussions, and contribute to integrated patient care.
- Mentorship & Education: supervise PT assistants, aides, and students; lead educational and training sessions.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: maintain accurate, compliant patient records and documentation.
- Professional Development: attend workshops, seminars, and research activities to stay current in the field.
- Community Outreach: participate in community programs and events to promote physical therapy and educate the public.
Qualifications
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English. Additional skills in Spanish, Tagalog, or any Chinese language are a plus.
- Licensing Requirements: Must possess a valid Physical Therapist License for California or a PTLA status.
- Educational Background: A degree from an accredited physical therapy program is required. New graduates are welcome.
- Specialized Skills: Comfortable with, or open to, treating patients in aquatic therapy settings. Comprehensive training will be provided.
- Personal Attributes: Willingness and openness to learn, commitment to patient‑centered care, and ability to adapt to diverse patient needs.
