Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• Current Virginia State Board of Pharmacy license.
• Clean criminal record as required for hire.
• One year pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, record keeping, and transporting medications.
• Communicate effectively with all staff members.
• Identify equipment or operational problems and report to pharmacist or manager.
• Collaborate with other health care practitioners in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Perform tasks designated by the pharmacist that do not require direct supervision.
