Qualifications

• 2 years pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• 40 hours of training in compounding sterile products accredited by ACPE or ASHP preferred.
• RPHT-TX registration with State Board of Pharmacy required or
• PHAR INT status; CPHT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes prescriptions and medication orders.
• Assists in preparation, repackaging, compounding, filling, and dispensing of medications.
• Maintains inventory and ensures proper storage and distribution of medications.
• Documents daily activities, checklists, and expiration dates.
• Coordinates with Materials and Logistics to maintain stock.
• Updates Master Formulation Book and M&R system as needed.
• Performs weekly inspections and ensures drug accountability logs are complete.
