Job summary

El Paso Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients in an inpatient setting. The role supports drug distribution, clinical interventions, research and teaching as part of a unified pediatric team.

Required is Texas pharmacist licensure, BLS, and PALS within 6 months, with residency or equivalent pediatric acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed to practice in Texas with pediatric focus.
• Experience in UD, IV additives and pediatric therapeutics preferred.
• ACPE CE hours and ongoing competency in pediatrics are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to pediatric inpatients and participate in clinical interventions.
• Support drug distribution, research, and teaching within pediatric services.
• Represent pharmacy on pediatric committees as needed.
