Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking a Pediatric Pathologist to join the Department of Pathology. The successful candidate will provide coverage of pediatric pathology services, teach medical students and residents, and participate in departmental activities.

The position offers a base salary range of $280,000–$330,400 with negotiation and potential Health Sciences Compensation Plan earnings; appointment at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor depending on experience. San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• California medical license or eligible required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic, Clinical, and/or Pediatric Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage of pediatric pathology services including a share of call.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in departmental activities and training programs.
