Job summary

Inova Laboratories in Northern Virginia seeks an experienced pathologist with AP/CP board certification and pediatric pathology fellowship to join its clinical pathology service across the Inova system. The role includes sign-out duties and collaboration to deliver world-class diagnostic services for both adult and pediatric patients.

The candidate must be board-certified, fellowship-trained in Pediatrics, and eligible for Virginia medical licensure and credentialing across Inova pathology

Qualifications

• Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
• Fellowship training in Pediatrics is required.
• Eligible for Virginia medical licensure and credentialing across Inova locations.

Responsibilities

• Sign out clinical pathology and surgical/hematopathology cases for adult and pediatric patients.
• Provide clinical pathology oversight, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and staff to improve operations and outreach.
• Lead a high-performing diagnostic team with strong interpersonal skills.
• Educate staff and participate in committees as section medical director.
