Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a qualified RN for Pediatric PACU in Washington, DC. The role focuses on post-anesthesia care for pediatric patients during night shifts with 12-hour periods. This contract runs for 13 weeks and requires current pediatric PACU experience.

Active state RN license is required, with BLS and PALS certifications. Prior experience in a Level I trauma center and with ventilated patients is highly valued. Scheduling will include rotation with start times between 6 AM and 11 AM.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license required; pending license accepted but must be issued before start date.
• BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of Pediatric Post Anesthesia Care and Pre Testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for ventilated pediatric patients.
• Perform and monitor conscious sedation procedures.
• Monitor and respond to ICP changes and airway support.
• Collaborate in a Level I trauma center environment.
• Maintain pediatric PACU care standards and documentation.
