Job summary

The position covers Monday–Friday clinic hours with no weekends, triaging care, handling paperwork, orders and scheduling, and performing procedures as needed. The role emphasizes patient education, documentation, and coordination of care, with potential duties including vaccines, swabs, and urine sample collection.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri RN licensure in accordance with Compact Act.
• Basic Life Support certification required; online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment of the patient/family and coordinates patient care.
• Directs/provides patient care, including administering medication and monitoring status.
• Provides counsel and education to patients/family regarding disease and symptom management.
• Maintains medical records with timely documentation.
• Consults with health care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Demonstrates cost-effective work habits by managing supplies and equipment.
• Assists provider with examinations, prescriptions and other processes.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
