Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments or disabilities resulting from injury or disease.
• Develop and update the plan of care with patient/family, including measurable short- and long-term goals and a discharge plan.
• Follow intervention protocols and discharge patients when goals are met or medical necessity ends.
• Provide education to patients and families; participate in teaching activities for students and other health personnel.
