Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Pediatric Otolaryngology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Peoria, IL. Start date ASAP with daily 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shifts, plus 24-hour weekend calls. Board-certified or board-eligible ENT with IL license is required.

Experience in tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, myringotomy with tubes, and other ENT procedures is preferred. ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications are required; Epic EMR is used for charting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Otolaryngology physician.
• Active Illinois medical license required.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric otolaryngology care in a clinic setting and on call.
• Perform procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, myringotomy with tubes, and related ENT interventions.
• Coordinate patient care using Epic EMR and collaborate with the healthcare team.

?This facility is seeking a Pediatric Otolaryngology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

• Schedule: Start or estimated start date, 12/11/2026 | Daily 8:00AM-4:30PM, Night call 4:30PM-8:00AM, Weekends 24 hour call 8:00AM-8:00AM
• Practice Setting: Clinic
• Types of Cases: Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, Myringotomy with vent tube insertion, Cauterization of the septum, Frenulectomy, Foreign body removal, Abscess drainage, Myringoplasty, Laryngoscopy
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications Required: Board certified, Board Eligible, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
• Licensure Required: Active Illinois license
