Job summary

Family Health West in Fruita, CO is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in our Peds Therapy team. You will evaluate and treat pediatric patients, supervise assistants, and collaborate with physicians to create effective treatment plans end-to-end.

The position requires Colorado OT licensure and NOTCB certification; pediatric experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team in a welcoming community near the Colorado National Monument.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an OT program.
• Current Colorado OT license in good standing.
• Current NOTCB certification and BLS certification required.
• One or more years of pediatric OT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients as prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Supervise and direct OT assistants and rehab staff.
• Complete progress notes, discharge notes, and required documentation within 24 hours of service.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to plan and coordinate patient care.
• Maintain department safety and cleanliness and ensure accurate patient charges.
