Job summary

Newberry County Memorial Hospital in Newberry, SC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our outpatient pediatric therapy team. With supervision of a licensed OT, the COTA will plan, organize, and implement an occupational therapy program including documentation and treatment for individual patients.

Outpatient pediatric therapy experience is preferred, and new graduates will be considered.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a COTA preferred
• Will consider new graduate
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of South Carolina
• BLS certification required, or must obtain with 60 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, administers the OT program, planning, organizing and implementing care for individual patients.
• Documentation and treatment plans must be appropriate to the population served.
