Job summary

The Pediatric Place, LLC in Clinton, MO is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric therapy team. You will provide individualized therapy to children ages 0–18 across clinic, school, and Missouri First Steps settings, focusing on fine motor skills, self-care, and sensory processing.

Collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to create customized treatment plans, document progress, and advocate for each child’s goals while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy license required.
• Passion for working with pediatric patients ages 0–18.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to family-centered and patient-centered care.
• Experience in pediatric therapy settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services for children ages 0–18.
• Address fine motor development, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills.
• Support visual motor integration, self-care skills, and coping strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Work in clinic settings, schools, and Missouri First Steps programs.
• Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Educate and support families throughout the therapy process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Create engaging and developmentally appropriate therapy sessions.
