St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assertive Technology to support outpatient services.

The role focuses on using AAC tech to help children communicate, with a 36-hour weekly schedule, a sign-on bonus, and a CEU budget to support ongoing professional development. Collaboration with families and health care teams is essential to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• OT licensure/certification is required.
• Master's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment.
• Educates and collaborates with patients and families; refers to specialists as needed.
• Delegates to assistants and students with appropriate supervision.
• Completes documentation per departmental policies.
• Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Occupational Therapy Services.
