Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is actively recruiting a fellowship trained BC/BE, full-time Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon for McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple, Texas. The candidate will join a multispecialty group of 16 fellowship-trained surgeons with an academic affiliation to Baylor College of Medicine–Temple.

The role supports education, research, and a comprehensive pediatric orthopedic program with access to EOS imaging, intraoperative CT, and collaboration with pediatric subspecialists.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
• Board certification in his or her specialty or active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board.

Responsibilities

• Must have completed a year of fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
• Willing to actively participate in education and preferably have experience and interest in research.
• Possibility of serving as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery or Division Director of Pediatric Orthopedics in Temple for experienced candidates.
• Treat a wide variety of pediatric orthopedic conditions and develop subspecialty niches as desired.
