Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Physical Therapist I to provide comprehensive PT services to patients and families within a collaborative care team. The role focuses on evaluation, documentation, and delivering age-appropriate therapy across all ages in a designated department. Required is an accredited PT degree, New Jersey licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy school.
• Minimum of 0-2 years' experience.
• Pediatric experience preferred (2+ years).
• Licenses and certifications required: Physical Therapist License; BLS/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients for all ages within the department.
• Delivers therapeutic treatment for all ages within the department.
• Completes documentation on time as required by the department.
• Identifies patient needs and tailors care for age, culture, language, and other factors.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adheres to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Education

Graduation from an accredited physical therapy school

0-2 years of experience in physical therapy

Pediatric experience preferred (2+ years)
