Job summary

Children's Dental FunZone in California is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant or RDA with ortho background for a part-time role. You will join a pediatric practice that values integrity, teamwork, and outstanding customer service.

You will perform chairside duties, manage instruments, and collaborate with the dental team to deliver quality care to children. The position offers a friendly work environment with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• OA/RDA license by Dental Board.
• An upbeat personality is a MUST.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments used during dental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor, etc.).
• Effectively pour models and conduct other lab procedures.
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in the patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory.
• Work in conjunction with Staff Dentists/Dental team to develop and implement preventive dental activities for the community.
