Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, AR, is seeking an Operating Room Tech to support the OR team in the Main OR. The shift is Mon-Fri, 7a-3p, and the position is full time. Salary starts between $15.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Required Education: No education requirements.
• Recommended Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assists with transfers and admissions as directed by licensed staff.
• Relays pertinent information to OR team as appropriate to assist with individualizing the patient plan of care.
• Performs clerical duties, including chart formation and availability, and acts as a courier between ancillary departments (lab) as needed.
• Assists with maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly patient/department environment which is in compliance with infection control, safety, OSHA, and other regulatory processes.
• Ensures that clean beds/stretchers are readily available outside of ORs for timely patient transfers.
• Assists EVS staff with between case cleaning and trash collection, and ensures that appropriate cleaning supplies are available for rapid room turnover.
• Practices optimal infection control processes both in patient contact and equipment cleaning/maintenance.
• Ensures that patient supplies, linens and equipment is organized, clean, and properly re-stocked for optimal cost effectiveness and availability for patient care.
• Practices cost effective use of supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
