Job summary

Prosperity Placement Solutions is seeking a Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist with pediatric experience to join a busy pediatric practice in Beaumont, Texas. This part-time role is two days per week, offering flexibility with either Tuesday & Thursday or Wednesday & Thursday.

You will work in a high-volume, child-focused environment serving ages 1–21 with emphasis on ages 3–9. Competitive compensation, CME opportunities, and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist with at least one year of pediatric experience.
• Texas dental license or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care for pediatric patients ages 1–21, with majority between 3–9 years old.
• Perform SSCs, fillings, pulpotomies and simple extractions.
• Complete hygiene checks and recare exams throughout the day.
• Provide same-day treatment when clinically appropriate.
• Build trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Educate patients and parents on lifelong oral health habits.
• Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in a fast-paced pediatric practice.

Our client is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Dentist or an experienced General Dentist with pediatric experience to join a busy, well-established pediatric practice in Beaumont, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care for pediatric patients ages 1–21, with the majority of patients between 3–9 years old
• Perform Stainless Steel Crowns (SSCs), fillings, pulpotomies, and simple extractions
• Complete hygiene checks and recare exams throughout the day
• Provide same-day treatment when clinically appropriate
• Build trusting relationships with children and their families
• Educate patients and parents on lifelong oral health habits
• Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in a fast-paced pediatric practice

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist with at least one year of experience treating pediatric patients
• Texas dental license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Active Medicaid Provider ID
• Current Nitrous Oxide Certification (if required by state)
• Comfortable treating pediatric patients ages 1–21, primarily ages 3–9
• Comfortable managing patient behavior and communicating effectively with children and parents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent chairside manner
• Team-oriented with a compassionate, patient-focused approach

Practice Environment

• Comfortable seeing approximately 35–50 patients per day
• Manage approximately 12–15 operative patients daily while completing hygiene checks
• Approximately 70% hygiene checks and recare exams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume pediatric office
• Experience treating Medicaid and underserved patient populations
