Job summary

The American Academy of Ophthalmology seeks a full-time faculty member at the assistant, associate, or professor level in the Department of Ophthalmology. Board certification/eligibility is required, with fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology.

Responsibilities include clinical care, teaching residents and medical students, and opportunities for research and leadership roles. Two practice sites offer state-of-the-art equipment and excellent support.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible to be board certified.
• Fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology required.
• Experience with pediatric cataracts and ROP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to patients.
• Lead/participate in clinical training of residents and medical students.
• Engage in clinical research and participate in administrative/leadership activities.
• Work across two practice sites with strong technical support.
