Job summary

Children’s Eye Care of Michigan in Detroit is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible pediatric ophthalmologist to join our private practice with academic involvement at the affiliated hospital.

The successful candidate will manage pediatric glaucoma, infantile cataracts, retinopathy of prematurity, ocular trauma, strabismus and amblyopia, while mentoring residents and contributing to teaching and research in a physician-owned setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and ophthalmology board certification or eligibility.
• AUPO-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus completed.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills in pediatric ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology care including glaucoma, cataracts, strabismus and amblyopia.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring residents and medical students.
• Engage in research and academic activities within a physician-owned private practice.
