Job summary

Dayton Children’s Hospital seeks a pediatric ophthalmologist to join our expanding service. Qualified candidates must hold, or be able to obtain, an unrestricted Ohio medical license and be board certified/board eligible in ophthalmology. Fellowship training at an AAPOS approved fellowship is required.

Qualifications

• Pediatric ophthalmology expertise required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric ophthalmology care to patients at Dayton Children’s.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Engage in teaching and participate in clinical service expansion.

Department Specific Job Details: Dayton Children’s is a freestanding children’s hospital with more than 35 pediatric specialties. The hospital is a designated Level I pediatric trauma center. We serve a pediatric population of over 500,000 from a 20-county region of central and southwestern Ohio and eastern Indiana, and the Emergency Department evaluates over 80,000 children annually.
