The position requires ABO board certification/eligibility and an unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility. Faculty appointment and hospital staff participation are expected as part of the academic mission.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO); applicants on alternative pathways accepted.
• Unrestricted Florida medical license (or eligible for one).
• Qualified to hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatric Surgery and an appointment to the Medical Staff of Nemours Children’s Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care as Pediatric Ophthalmologist.
• Pursue research opportunities and participate in academic activities; academic appointment available with Univ. of Central Florida Medical School.
