Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Oncology Chemo Certified position in Massachusetts. Must hold APHON Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider certification, MA RN license, and have travel nursing experience.

Two professional references from at least two different facilities within the last three places worked are required. The role includes day or night shifts, with weekend rotations and no on-call duties.

Qualifications

Active MA RN license required
Minimum 2 years pediatric nursing experience required
Competency with Port, PICC, and CVL access required
APHON Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider certification required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Two verified professional references from two different facilities among the last three places worked required

Responsibilities

Work in the Pediatric Oncology unit providing chemo-certified nursing care
May float to support the sister BMT/transplant unit (6W)
Day shift (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00) or night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00) available
Weekend rotation required every third weekend
No on-call responsibilities
Provide chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing care to pediatric patients
If scheduled RTO falls on a scheduled weekend, a different weekend must be worked in coordination with the unit scheduler
Local candidates accepted at a rate differential within a 50-mile radius
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
