Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina's pediatric unit MUSC Children’s Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse II to provide individualized patient care in a 36-hour weekly night shift. The role includes chemotherapy administration, pain management, and coordination with the health care team to ensure safe, effective care for pediatric patients up to age 25.

Minimum requirements include a nursing degree with preferred BSN, SC RN licensure, and BLS certification; at least one year of RN

Qualifications

• RN with valid SC license or compact state license.
• Bachelor's preferred; BSN within 4 years if hired with diploma/associate.
• One year RN work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient care using nursing process.
• Administer chemotherapy and BMTCT products when eligible.
• Coordinate with health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Perform safety and pain management during sickle cell/crises.
