Job summary

Children’s Minnesota is seeking a mid-career Pediatric Oncology Physician to serve as Program Lead for the newly developed Cell Therapy & Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Program. The role includes 0.4 FTE dedicated to leadership and 0.6 FTE for clinical care of oncology patients, within a teaching hospital that values research and trials.

There is a strong team of physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and other specialists.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Minnesota license or ability to obtain one.
• Board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
• Academic inquiry and research valued but not required; strong clinical trial involvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cellular Therapies/Autologous Transplant Program as Program Lead.
• Provide clinical oncology care (0.6 FTE) for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with Cancer and Blood Disorders team and participate in COG trials.
• Support teaching and scholarly activities within the university-affiliated system.
