Job summary

Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospitals UHC is looking for a Clinical Dietitian to deliver nutrition care, apply critical thinking, and educate staff in a hospital setting in Cleveland, OH.

The role requires a degree in nutrition and licensure/registration readiness, with potential emphasis on medical nutrition therapy and patient education. This is a full-time on-site position with salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Competent in Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and applying the nutrition care process.
• Assess and recommend nutrition needs based on objective/subjective data.
• Analytical skills to assess patient condition and provide appropriate interventions.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, physicians and other health care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Delivering effective nutrition care and developing tools for complex cases in area of specialty.
• Apply critical thinking and professional judgment in daily practice.
• Educate staff, interns and other health care professionals in hospital nutrition care.
