Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree.
• Current active medical license issued by the State of Ohio or eligible for license.
• Appropriate medical credentialing through Medical Staff Services.
• Completion of all required pre-employment activities.
• Associate Professor appointment or eligibility required; generally requires 5 years at Assistant Professor rank; board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, compassionate patient care with clinical specialty expertise.
• Develop and maintain local/regional recognition as a field authority and contribute to regional referral base.
• Offer consultative services to other physicians to establish coordinated care plans.
• Develop local or regionally distinctive clinical skills or programs.
• Make clinical decisions on patient care including screening, diagnosis, prognosis, care, reassessment, and discontinuation.

Education
