Job summary

Therapitas in Oklahoma City seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient team at Shepherd Mall, delivering high-quality therapy to children. NEW GRADUATES encouraged to apply. Oklahoma OT license or eligibility; Spanish not required (interpreter support provided). You will evaluate, design treatment plans, address fine motor and sensory needs, document in EMR, and supervise COTAs and students.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program or expected graduation.
• Oklahoma OT license or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience or interest in pediatrics; passion for helping children thrive.
• Spanish language not required; interpreter support is provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
• Implement and adjust therapy to support fine motor, sensory processing, ADLs, and functional independence.
• Document services in EMR to meet standards and payer regulations.
• Collaborate with SLPs, PTs, and other team members for comprehensive care.
• Provide guidance and supervision to COTAs and OT students.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
• Implement and adjust therapy interventions to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, ADLs, and overall functional independence.
• Document services with our easy-to-use EMR system to meet clinical standards and payer regulations.
• Collaborate with SLPs, PTs, and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Occupational Therapy Students.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (or expected graduation).
• Oklahoma OT license (or eligibility to obtain, including upcoming board exam candidates).
• Experience or interest in pediatrics - Passion for working with children and helping them thrive.
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus but NOT REQUIRED - We provide interpreter support!
