Job summary

Reading Hospital seeks an Occupational Therapist for its Exeter outpatient office in Reading, PA. The role evaluates and plans patient treatment programs, adheres to OT best practices, and collaborates across the Rehabilitation Continuum.

The candidate will supervise assistants and students and maintain relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, and other health professionals in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Master of Occupational Therapy or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active PA Occupational Therapy License; temporary licensure allowed in lieu of full licensure.
• BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and implements treatment programs for referred patients according to accepted principles and practices of Occupational Therapy.
• Supervised by and reports to Therapy Manager or Senior Therapist.
• Supervises assistants, aides, and students.
• Supports all programs in the Rehabilitation Continuum.
• Maintains working relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers, allied health professionals, ancillary services, and hospital support personnel.
