Cortica, in Carlsbad, CA, seeks a Part-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join an interdisciplinary team delivering evidence-based, play-centered therapy for children and families.

Qualifications

• California OT license required.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans reflecting each child's strengths, interests, and goals.
• Deliver engaging, play-based therapy focusing on sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor development, self-care, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary clinical team for integrated care.
• Participate in co-treatment sessions when appropriate.
• Educate caregivers with practical home strategies to support progress.
• Maintain documentation and billing to support high-quality care.

What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist at Cortica, you'll help children build meaningful life skills through individualized, engaging therapy.

You'll:

• Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessments


• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each child's strengths, interests, and goals

• Collaborate closely with families and an interdisciplinary clinical team to provide integrated care

• Contribute ideas that help strengthen and grow our clinical programs
