Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is a home health provider offering patient-centered occupational therapy in patients' homes, daycares, and schools across the Greater Houston area. The role emphasizes compassionate, collaborative care and detailed documentation to support children and families.

The Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant will deliver one-on-one therapy, align with physician plans, and participate in mentorship within a supportive team focused on growth and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Licensed to practice as a COTA in Texas by the start date.
  • 1 year of experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services including ROM, strength, mobility, and caregiver training per physician plans.
  • Educate families on OT techniques and collaborate with the care team.
  • Administer therapy to improve functional abilities and independence.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams; supervision of assistants is a plus.
