California Children's Services (CCS) Medical Therapy Unit (MTU) in the County of San Mateo is seeking pediatric Occupational Therapists who are interested in joining a dynamic, multidisciplinary team providing medical therapy services to children with physical disabilities. We are accepting applications from pediatric Occupational Therapists to fill a Full-Time, Regular position.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for California OT licensure.
• Prefer at least 1 year of pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform occupational therapy for children with physical disabilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments per prescription from physicians.
• Provide activities to promote independence in self-care, play and motor skills.
• Plan and supervise classroom and home positioning programs and exercises.
• Instruct parents and classroom personnel in home program usage.
• Maintain treatment area cleanliness and organization.
• Document progress and treatment responses.
