Job summary

Connecticut Children’s seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care to children with disabilities across clinic, inpatient, outpatient and outreach programs. You will evaluate, consult, and intervene, coordinating with families and the health care team to implement a continuous plan of care and educate patients and families.

Requires a Bachelor’s in OT, CT licensure, BLS/CPR, and a minimum of 2 years pediatric therapy experience; Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an approved course of study in Occupational Therapy. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in pediatric therapy strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to children with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations.
• Perform occupational therapy evaluation, consultation and intervention in clinic, inpatient, outpatient and outreach programs.
• Collaborate with families and health care team to implement and coordinate a continuous plan of care.
• Complete required documentation and participate in staff development and research activities.
