Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Texas seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric home health and day program services. You will evaluate children aged 0–21, develop individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to reach functional goals.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas state license to practice occupational therapy.
• Experience in pediatrics required; home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patients degree and type of impairment by selecting and administering appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals; advise and instruct the team in OT modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet OT intervention goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training and in-service programs; may supervise COTAs.
