Role Description

This is a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist role based in Ventura, CA, with a hybrid schedule. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will evaluate children with a range of developmental and functional needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services in clinic and community-based settings. Daily responsibilities include administering standardized assessments, delivering therapeutic interventions, and documenting progress. The role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, and other therapy professionals to support carryover of skills at home, school, and in the community. The therapist will also participate in team meetings, contribute to treatment planning, and maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Pediatrics, with experience providing therapy services to children.
• Candidates should possess skills and comfort in working with children, including the ability to build rapport, engage families, and adapt interventions to different ages and abilities.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a full pediatric caseload.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members.
• CPR/First Aid certification and familiarity with pediatric safety and infection‑control practices are beneficial.
• Prior experience in outpatient pediatrics, school‑based services, or early intervention is a plus, but new graduates with pediatric fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply.
